Research on HIV/AIDS co-infection epidemiology detailed by scientists at Health Protection Agency Center for Infections

New investigation results, "Update on lymphogranuloma venereum in the United Kingdom," are detailed in a study published in Sexually Transmitted Infections. "This report updates the UK epidemiology of lymphogranuloma venereum (LGV) to the end of April 2007. The Health Protection Agency's Centre for Infections undertakes laboratory testing for LGV and subsequent epidemiological investigation of cases after laboratory confirmation of the LGV serovars (L1-3)," scientists writing in the journal Sexually Transmitted Infections report.
