Reports from Nevada Cancer Institute describe recent advances in breast cancer clinical trial

New investigation results, 'Lapatinib and ixabepilone for the treatment of metastatic breast cancer,' are detailed in a study published in Pharmacotherapy. "Breast cancer is the second leading cause of cancer death in women. Treatment options for advanced-stage disease, although numerous, remain suboptimal," scientists in the United States report.
