Studies from University of Alaska, Institute of Arctic Biology have provided new information about life sciences

Data detailed in 'Francisella genes required for replication in mosquito cells' have been presented. According to recent research published in the Journal of Medical Entomology, "Francisella tularensis, a potential bioterrorism agent, is transmitted by arthropod vectors and causes tularemia in many mammals, including humans. Francisella novicida causes disease with similar pathology in mice."
