New gastroenteritis epidemiology study findings have been reported by scientists at Institute of Public Health

Fresh data on gastroenteritis are presented in the report 'Molecular characterization of sapovirus detected in a gastroenteritis outbreak at a wedding hall.' According to recent research from Japan, "Sapovirus (SaV) is an important pathogen of human acute gastroenteritis. A gastroenteritis outbreak occurred at a wedding hall in October 2007 in Ehime Prefecture, Japan."
