Researchers from Institute for Medical Microbiology and Hospital Epidemiology Report Recent Findings in Nosocomial Infections

2011 APR 17 -- Fresh data on Nosocomial Infections are presented in the report 'Worldwide Outbreak Database: the largest collection of nosocomial outbreaks.' According to a study from Hannover, Germany, "Epidemiological findings of a single outbreak event may not be generalized; however, the characteristics of a typical outbreak can be determined on the basis of a large number of similar events. The Outbreak Database is the largest collection of nosocomial outbreaks currently available-and is still expanding."
