New Legionella Study Findings Have Been Published by Scientists at College of Light Industry & Food Sciences

2012 FEB 12 -- Fresh data on Legionella are presented in the report "LAMP-based method for a rapid identification of Legionella spp. and Legionella pneumophila." According to the authors of a study from Guangzhou, People's Republic of China, "Legionella pneumophila is accounted for more than 80% of Legionella infection. However it is difficult to discriminate between the L. pneumophila and non-L. pneumophila species rapidly."
