Relypsa, Inc., a privately-held biopharmaceutical company discovering and developing novel polymeric drugs, announced the appointment of Ronald Krasnow as Senior Vice President, Intellectual Property & Chief Patent Counsel. In this newly-created position, he will be responsible for overseeing all activities related to ensuring solid intellectual property (IP) protection for Relypsa's technology and product portfolios. Mr. Krasnow will also oversee corporate and transactional legal activities on behalf of the company. He will report to Jay Shepard, President and Chief Executive Officer of Relypsa.
