New angiology study findings have been reported by researchers in Japan and the United States

Studies from Japan and the United States further understanding of angiology.

Study 1: Researchers detail in "Chronic activation of the prostaglandin receptor EP4 promotes hyaluronan-mediated neointimal formation in the ductus arteriosus," new data in angiology. According to recent research from Yokohama, Japan, "PGE, a potent vasodilator, plays a primary role in maintaining the patency of the ductus arteriosus (DA). Genetic disruption of the PGE-specific receptor EP4, however, paradoxically results in fatal patent DA (PDA) in mice."
