New Cardiovascular Research Study Findings Have Been Reported by Scientists at Institute for Cancer Research and Treatment (IRCCS)

2012 MAY 2 -- Data detailed in "Thrombolysis in ischemic stroke: focus on new treatment strategies" have been presented. According to the authors of recent research published in the journal Recent Patents On Cardiovascular Drug Discovery, "Stroke is the third leading cause of death and the main cause of permanent disability in western countries. Reperfusion within 3 hours of symptoms-onset is the most beneficial of all therapeutic strategies for acute ischemic stroke."
