Law firm expands Washington, DC, office and life sciences patent practice

Cooley Godward, LLP, announced that Michael S. Tuscan and Erich E. Veitenheimer III have joined the firm as partners in its intellectual property group, focusing on patent-related matters for life science and biotechnology companies.

They will be resident in Cooley's Washington, DC, office. Both Tuscan and Veitenheimer join the firm from Morgan Lewis's Washington, DC office, where they were partners and cochairs in the firm's life sciences intellectual property group.
