Alliance Imaging Announces Sale of Stock by a Stockholder

Alliance Imaging, Inc. (NYSE:AIQ), a leading health care services provider of diagnostic imaging services, announced the underwritten public offering of 1,443,065 shares of its common stock by Viewer Holdings LLC, a fund controlled by an affiliate of Kohlberg Kravis Roberts & Co. L.P. Alliance Imaging will not receive any proceeds from this transaction.

Citi is the sole book runner for the underwritten offering. The offering is being made only by means of a written prospectus forming part of the effective registration statement.
