New criminal law study findings have been published by scientists at University of Manchester

"This article examines the decline of the cognate offences of obscene and blasphemous libel and argues that, given their basic conceptual and practical problems including unnecessary inconsistencies and complexities, and prosecutorial reluctance to use them, they are ripe for termination as undesirable doctrinal entities in English law," investigators in Manchester, the United Kingdom report.
