Diomed Comments on Status Conference in VNUS Litigation

Diomed Holdings, Inc. (AMEX: DIO - News), a leading developer and marketer of minimally invasive medical technologies, including its patented EndoVenous Laser Treatment (EVLT(R)) for varicose veins, announced that on Friday December 7, 2007 District Judge Maxine M. Chesney of the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of California held a status conference relating to the patent infringement lawsuit by VNUS Medical Technologies, Inc. ("VNUS") against Diomed and its co-defendants, Angio-Dynamics, Inc. and Vascular Solutions, Inc. During the conference, no trial date was set.
