Out of Touch: McCain Touts Bush's Failed Trade Policies

The following is a statement from Change to Win executive director Greg Tarpinian regarding Sen. John McCain's speech in Ottawa, Canada today touting the North American Free Trade Agreement (NAFTA) and other bad trade policies.

"Far too many workers have been hurt by unfair, poorly negotiated, and inadequately enforced trade deals. Millions of jobs have been sent overseas, safety standards have been lowered, and environmental standards degraded. While working families continue to struggle to make ends meet in a dwindling economy, John McCain continues to advocate for more bad trade and economic policies. He is woefully out of touch with America's workers.
