Senator Tom Daschle Appointed as Member of Commission on White House Fellowships

Senator Tom Daschle, special public policy advisor in the Washington office of the law firm Alston + Bird, has been named by President Obama to be a member of the President's Commission on White House Fellowships.

"I'm honored and pleased to accept the appointment," Senator Daschle, former majority leader of the United States Senate, said. "The White House Fellows program is one of our nation's outstanding institutions, with a long history of bringing to the federal government our most impressive men and women early in their careers, who then go on to serve their country with great distinction in both the public and private sectors."
