3M Files Patent Infringement Lawsuit Against Library Systems Manufacturer

3M and 3M Innovative Properties Co. filed a patent infringement lawsuit in federal district court for the District of Minnesota today against EnvisionWare Inc. seeking injunctive relief and damages for infringement. The suit alleges that EnvisionWare's sale of library systems, including self-service circulation systems and handheld radio frequency identification (RFID) library systems, constitutes infringement of 3M's patents.
