Humana offers free SilverSneakers fitness program to seniors in Texas

Humana Inc. (HUM) began offering a free exercise program and fitness center membership to its Medicare-eligible members in the Coastal Bend area of Texas including Corpus Christi, Portland, Rockport, and Aransas Pass.

Designed to help seniors stay in shape, offset the effects of aging and stimulate cognitive skills, the SilverSneakers Fitness Program is now available for area seniors at no additional cost when they enroll in one of Humana's Medicare Advantage plans.

The innovative exercise program focuses on cardiovascular health, muscular strength, balance, coordination and conditioning.
