Patent issued covering novel spinal grafts

Amedica Corporation announced that it has received U.S. Patent # 6,790,233 covering its novel spine grafts.

Currently under development, Amedica's new spine grafts covered under this and pending patents will be used as a bio-safe alternative to autograft bone, taken directly from the patient, or allograft bone, taken from viable donors.

Due to the breadth and versatility of the patented technology, the company expects surgeons to easily apply it in virtually any type of bone defect site.
