Presbyterian reaches agreement on Medicaid

Presbyterian Health Plan has reached an agreement with Las Cruces, New Mexico-based Rio Grande Behavioral Health, easing fears that changes Presbyterian proposed would threaten some organizations that make up the Las Cruces group.

However, representatives from Presbyterian, Rio Grande and the state Health and Human Services Department would not release details of the agreement citing a confidentiality clause.

Roque Garcia, head Rio Grande Behavioral Health, said he could not comment other than to say the agreement was good for Rio Grande's patients.
