Diagnoses of Alzheimer disease expected to increase

Six years ago, Jim Brennan was a top cop in the violent crimes unit of the Chicago Police Department.

Today, he can't handle a gun without hurting himself.

And one of his greatest fears is that he'll stumble into a closet in the middle of the night, again, and not be able to find his way out.
