Record keeping and monitoring company gets MedStar patents

Cybernet Medical, a developer of electronic record keeping and biometric monitoring technology supporting outpatient care, announced the award of U.S. patent 6,875,174, which with U.S. patents 6,723,046, 6,375,614, and 6,050,940 covers the broad implementation of the MedStar Internet and telephone-based telemedical products and the web-based electronic medical record services that support them.
This patent is the latest awarded to Cybernet Medical's Internet-medicine monitoring system, which first was patented on June 17, 1996.
