Abiomed reports revenue is up 28% to $13.8 million

Revenue for the fiscal fourth quarter of 2006 was $13.8 million, up 28% compared to revenue of $10.8 million in the same period of fiscal 2005. Revenue for the fiscal year 2006 reached $43.7 million, up 14% over fiscal year 2005 and up 70% over the last 2 years.

Recent financial and operating highlights include:

1) Strong U.S. growth with a 28% increase in total revenue for the quarter and 134% growth in AB5000 Consoles revenue.
