Albany Molecular Research, Inc., (AMRI) reported financial results for the quarter ended March 31, 2006. Total contract revenue in the first quarter of 2006 was $36.2 million, a decrease of 1% compared to total contract revenue of $36.6 million in the first quarter of 2005. Total contract revenue encompasses revenue from AMRI's Discovery Services, Development and Small Scale Manufacturing, and Large Scale Manufacturing. Contract revenue from Discovery Services in the first quarter of 2006 was $8.4 million, an increase of 22% from $6.9 million in the first quarter of 2005.
