The apparatus is capable of detecting trace amounts of methamphetamine, other illicit drugs, and other chemical substances. The apparatus incorporates Cdex core technology and will provide first responders (i.e., law enforcement, fire fighters, and HAZMAT teams) with a cost effective, real time method of conducting non-contact, non-destructive, field tests of suspicious substances.
