Researchers' work from the United States adds to diabetes body of knowledge

Diabetes data are the focus of recent research from the United States.

Study 1: Small molecule-mediated activation of AMP-activated protein kinase offers a promising approach for the treatment of type 2 diabetes.

According to recent research from the United States, "AMP-activated protein kinase (AMPK) is a key sensor and regulator of intracellular and whole-body energy metabolism. We have identified a thienopyridone family of AMPK activators."
