New biomedical engineering study findings recently were reported by researchers at Center for Biomedical Ethics and Law

Current study results from the report, "Legal thoughts on the implications of cost-reducing guidelines for the quality of health care," have been published. According to a study from Leuven, Belgium, "Health care expenditures in European countries are increasing. Many cost containment mechanisms have been developed, one of which is the introduction of clinical practice guidelines in binding legislation."
