Heska Corporation (Nasdaq: HSKA; "Heska"), a leading provider of advanced veterinary diagnostic and specialty veterinary products, announced a safety award from the Iowa-Illinois Chapter of the National Safety Council during their 54th Annual Professional Development Conference held in Coralville, Iowa. The award was presented for outstanding achievement in accident prevention during the 2006 calendar year.
Heska operations in Iowa include a wholly-owned subsidiary based in Des Moines, Iowa which manufactures vaccines and pharmaceuticals and handles distribution logistics. During calendar year 2006, Heska operations in Iowa had a Total Recordable Injuries rate of 1.0%...
