New findings from University of North Carolina, Research Center in the area of life sciences in children described

A report, 'Speak softly--and forget the stick. Corporal punishment and child physical abuse,' is newly published data in American Journal of Preventive Medicine. "Previous studies have shown an association between spanking and child physical abuse. However, the relationship between more frequent and severe corporal punishment and abuse remains unknown," scientists in the United States report.
