According to the American Hospital Association, California had the highest workplace absenteeism at 2,761,000 lost work days per year due to hypertension, which is estimated to cost employers $522 million annually. Anthem Blue Cross' (Anthem) Employee Assistance Program (EAP) provides Californians with resources to help identify and resolve issues that they may face and that may impact workplace productivity.
