Psychoactive medications linked to risk of delirium in hospitalized cancer patients

Use of psychoactive medications was associated with a heightened risk of delirium in hospitalized cancer patients. According to recent research from Canada, "Psychoactive medications are biologically plausible and potentially modifiable risk factors of delirium. To date, however, research findings are inconsistent regarding their association with delirium."
