Long-term health complaints after the Amsterdam Air Disaster in police officers and firefighters are examined.

Scientists writing in the journal Occupational and Environmental Medicine report, "On 4 October 1992, a cargo aircraft crashed into apartment buildings in Amsterdam, the Netherlands. Firefighters and police officers assisted with the rescue work. [The aim of the study was] to examine the long term health complaints in rescue workers exposed to a disaster."
