Depression Risk Factors
Research from Inha University, Department of Psychiatry has provided new data on depression risk factors

Research findings, "Dorsolateral prefrontal cortex and anterior cingulate cortex white matter alterations in late-life depression," are discussed in a new report. According to recent research from South Korea, "The dorsolateral prefrontal cortex (DLPFC) and anterior cingulate cortex (ACC) are critical for mood regulation. Alterations in the white matter connections of these regions may impair their role in mood regulation and increase the risk of developing depression."
