Conmed Healthcare Management Announces New Multi-Year Agreement with Garrett County, Maryland

Conmed Healthcare Management, Inc. (NYSE Amex: CONM - News), a leading full service provider of correctional facility healthcare services to county detention centers, announced that it has signed an agreement with Garrett County, Maryland, for an initial period of 2.5 years. The contract has two one-year extension options and becomes effective January 19, 2010. With projected price increases the agreement is expected to generate revenues of approximately $1.0 million over the full 4.5 year term. The contract includes staffing, laboratory and mobile x-ray and mental health services. Garrett County's inmate population currently consists of approximately 50 adult inmates.
