Researchers from University Medical Center, Department of Cardiology report details of new studies and findings in the area of chronic heart failure

Fresh data on chronic heart failure are presented in the report 'Telomere length and psychological well-being in patients with chronic heart failure.' According to recent research published in the journal Age and Ageing, "psychological stress and depressive symptoms have been implicated with accelerated aging and increased progression of diseases. Shorter telomere length indicates a more advanced biological age."
