Behavioral Center of Michigan opens unit with upscale amenities for patients

The Behavioral Center of Michigan (BCOM), a 42-bed inpatient psychiatric hospital, announced the opening of its 12-bed upscale final phase called "The North End Unit," which offers patients an alternative to traditional inpatient psychiatric facilities. Twelve private suites are appointed with hand-painted murals, carpeting, crown moldings, and wallpaper to create a warm environment. Each luxury suite has a private bathroom, television and wireless capabilities. In addition, four of the suites are available separate from the rest to provide anonymity and privacy.
