Reports outline mental health therapy study results from University of Calgary, Department of Psychiatry

Researchers detail in "Mental health treatment dropout and its correlates in a general population sample," new data in mental health. "Dropping out of mental health treatment prematurely may affect treatment outcome. However, we have limited knowledge about the epidemiology of mental health treatment dropout," scientists in Calgary, Canada report.

"The objectives of this analysis were to estimate the rates of dropout in individuals who had received mental health treatment provided by different health professionals and to identify factors associated with mental health treatment dropout.
