Speaker DiMasi Joins Suicide Prevention Experts, Advocates and Lawmakers in Boston and Cyberspace for Statewide Electronic Town Meeting

House Speaker Salvatore F. DiMasi joined suicide prevention and mental health advocates, experts and lawmakers for an electronic town meeting today. Sponsored by the Massachusetts Coalition for Suicide Prevention (MCSP) the half-day program was also broadcast online, allowing viewers to watch the program in real time and participate in the question and answer portion and in electronic polling. "People meters" were used to gauge public perception on suicide and mental health issues that helped lead the panel discussion.
