Research from Chang-Gung University provides new data about attention deficit hyperactivity disorder in children

A report, "Acute effects of methylphenidate on performance during the Test of Variables of Attention in children with attention deficit/hyperactivity disorder," is newly published data in Psychiatry and Clinical Neurosciences. According to recent research from Taoyuan, Taiwan, "This study attempted to determine the acute effects of methylphenidate (MPH) on cognitive performance using the Test of Variables of Attention (TOVA) in children with attention deficit/hyperactivity disorder (ADHD). The study subjects comprised 57 children diagnosed with ADHD aged 6-13 years."
