European Patent Office Grants Hythiam Patent for Treatment of Alcohol Dependence

Hythiam, Inc. (NASDAQ:HYTM), a healthcare services management company that licenses the PROMETA(TM) treatment protocols designed to treat alcohol, methamphetamine and cocaine dependence, announced today that the European Patent Office has granted to Hythiam a patent for a use of a composition of matter for the treatment of alcohol dependence under European Patent Number 1374952.
