New life sciences study findings have been reported by scientists at Virginia Polytechnic Institute

According to recent research from the United States, "Oocysts are the environmentally resistant life stage of Toxoplasma gondii. Humans can become infected by accidentally ingesting the oocysts in water or from contaminated produce."
