"Ultrafast Magnetic Resonance Imaging of the Brain."

According to an abstract submitted by the authors to the 99th Annual Meeting of the American Roentgen Ray Society, held May 9-14, 1999, in New Orleans, Louisiana, "Purpose: To compare the diagnostic efficacy of single shot turbo spin echosequence and single shot GRASE sequence to that of conventional T2-weighted turbo spin echo sequence (T2-TSE) in the imaging of brain disorders. Patients and Methods: 33 patients with high signal intensity lesions on T2-weighted images (n=26) or intracebral hemorrhage (n=5) were examined on 1.0 T MR scanner with 23 mT/m gradient strength.
