Lamotrigine metabolism changes as pregnancy progresses. "This study was performed to clarify alterations in lamotrigine (LTG) clearance during pregnancy and childbirth. Fourteen women on LTG monotherapy had LTG concentration samples obtained before conception and monthly," reported researchers in the United States.
