Describing their work, Q. Xu and colleagues, Kobe University, explained, "Isolated leiomyoma cells were subcultured in phenol red-free DMEM supplemented with 10% fetal bovine serum for 120 hours and then stepped down to serum-free conditions for 12, 24, 48, and 96 hours in the absence or presence of graded concentrations of CDB-2914 (10-9), 10-8, 10-7, and 10-6 M).
