Reports from the United States and France highlight recent research on breast cancer. Study 1: Researchers were able to identify a multi-exonic BRCA1 deletion through a single nucleotide polymorphism. According to published research from the United States, "The identification of intragenic rearrangements is important for a comprehensive understanding of mutations that occur in some clinically important genes.
