Stevens-Johnson syndrome may be induced by HIV pregnant women taking antibiotics

HIV infection plus pregnancy and antibiotics may induce Stevens-Johnson syndrome in women with severely altered immune systems. According to a recently published case report from the United States, "Stevens-Johnson syndrome and toxic epidermal necrolysis are life-threatening dermatologic disorders that are more common in the setting of a compromised immune system.
