Higher testosterone and SHBG levels in men reduce risk of metabolic syndrome. According to recent research published in the Journal of Clinical Endocrinology and Metabolism, "Sex hormone levels in men change during aging. These changes may be associated with insulin sensitivity and the metabolic syndrome." M.
