New findings in breast cancer described

Study 1: Deregulation of X-linked genes may create genetic instability, thereby promoting mammary gland tumorigenesis.

"While contribution of X chromosome in the susceptibility of prostate and ovarian cancer has been demonstrated, the role of X-linked genes in breast cancinogenesis is not clearly known.
