Olympus broadcasts first inter-continental surgery in high-definition

The advanced laparoscopic operation, performed by Thomas L. Lyons MD from the Center for Women's Care & Reproductive Surgery, included a laparoscopic supracervical hysterectomy. The session also featured Prof. Dr. med. M. Possover from the University of Cologne in Cologne, Germany who performed a laparoscopic excision of extensive endometriosis with bowel resection and a nerve sparing technique.
