Research reports on breast cancer epidemiology from Brigham and Women's Hospital provide new insights

Investigators publish new data in the report "Prolactin and breast cancer risk." According to recent research from the United States, "Prolactin, a hormone involved in normal breast development and lactation, has been hypothesized to be important in the etiology of breast cancer. This review summarizes in vitro, animal, and epidemiologic data supporting this hypothesis."
