New investigation results, "Dietary patterns in patients with advanced cancer: implications for anorexia-cachexia therapy," are detailed in a study published in The American Journal of Clinical Nutrition. "Severe malnutrition and wasting are considered hallmarks of advanced malignant disease, and clinical research into anorexia-cachexia therapy and nutritional support for cancer patients is ongoing.
